What types of art do you specialize in?

I've tried many different forms of art; it sort of depends on the specific idea in my head and how I imagine bringing it into being. Lately I have been doing much more digital art. More rarely I will dabble in traditional illustrations or painting.

My shadowboxes are paper-crafted dioramas, fixed into a shadowbox. This involves lots of cutting, gluing, and assembly. Projects like these take a lot of my mental effort and focus, but it serves as a cathartic outlet.

Is all your art video game-themed?

Nope! I've also experimented in abstract and traditional art styles over the years. At some point I may add those items here, so stay tuned.

Can I purchase one of your art pieces?

Pieces from my Spotlight and Shadowbox series can be commissioned, either as-is, or with custom scenes/images. (This will factor into pricing.) I can also create totally new pieces.

- I can only make Shadowboxes that feature 2D games
- I can make a Spotlight Piece featuring any game

How do you price your art?

Pricing depends on the complexity of the piece, but my fee is always based on a flat hourly rate plus the cost of materials.

How long does it typically take you to complete a piece?

This can vary widely, and it mostly depends on two things: the size and complexity of the piece, and what else is going on in my life.

As a general rule, if you commission a piece from me, I'll give myself a week to complete it. This lets me take it in small chunks and prevents me from rushing or burning out.

Probably not. I'm not a business, just an artist who makes pieces at home for my own pleasure, and sometimes for others. I can deliver commissioned pieces to anywhere in or near the Greater Milwaukee Area. If you are located further away, reach out and we can work something out.
